An Important History Lesson

A reader of the Proud Ex-Democrat from Palm Desert, CA, sends along this very important clip from PJTV.

I've written here about Saul Alinsky, author of "Rules for Radicals," and one of Barack Obama's biggest influences.  One of Alinsky's "rules" is that things and people the aspiring radical disagrees with should be relentlessly attacked.  Many Democrats are becoming very practiced Alinskites.

The convenient thing about these attacks is that they do not need to be truthful or in any way provable, just relentless.  This keeps the adversary off balance, making it easier for said radical to win their case, even though they have no facts on their side.

In this clip from the PJTV show "Afterburner," host Bill Whittle goes into the background of this philosophy, back to it's origins before Alinsky.  Check it out here.

Scary stuff, but after you know this history you'll recognize these tactics in a lot of what Democratic Party operatives and politicians do.
